WARNING: Even though this song is super insider-ball, everyone is welcome to sing along.

Join me in singing the 12 Days of Streaming (on the TLC) by Rigel and friends. Special thanks to Sam and Teri for creating such a collaborative space in the Cosmic Navel. BTW, if this song goes viral and becomes a Christmas classic, I’ll pick you up in my Leer jet, and we’ll do the next Cosmic Navel in the sky.

How to participate

Instructions (2 devices and headphones needed)

Unless you have a recording studio, you will need one device to record yourself and another to play back the sing-along version.

1. Record yourself on Device #1 (smartphone recommended): open your camera in selfie mode so your face is visible, then press record. Don’t worry if there is dead air in the beginning. I will clip it out.

2. Playback using Device #2 (Laptop or iPad): Pull up the 12 Days of Streaming, wait for my count-in, and start singing along with me. It doesn’t need to be perfect.

3. When you are done, Click here to upload your video (Deadline is December 22, 2025)

Bonus improvisation (optional): There is a free-jazz/chant improv section at the end of the video. If you want to play around with singing the word “wall” over my drone note, you might just be featured in the final release. Feel free to upload a second video of your improvisation if you so choose.
