Austin Estuary Weekend — Paul VanderKlay Visiting (May 28-31)
In collaboration with St. John the Forerunner Orthodox Church and St. George's Episcopal Church
For a few days in late May, something a little unusual is happening in Austin.
Paul Vanderklay—pastor of the internet/Estuary’s godfather—will be in town, and we’re creating space for a series of conversations, gatherings, and a public talk.
This isn’t a formal conference. It’s more of a hosted visit with a mix of Estuary-style dialogue, informal hangouts, and organic conversations that will inevitably seep through the cracks.
If you’ve been circling these kinds of conversations—meaning, faith, culture, the “meaning crisis,” or are drawn to radically open and honest dialogue that holds space for friction and depth, this is a great entry point to dip your toes in.
Whether you identify as conservative, liberal, MAGA, Woke, religious, atheist, spiritual-but-not-religious, or…religious but not spiritual—you are welcome!

If you are visiting from out of town, I recommend finding a hotel or Airbnb in North or Northwest Austin near Highway 183. I’m happy to help in any way.
