Cosmic Navel Gazer goes to NYC
I am in NYC this weekend for a godchild's baptism. We went to the Lego store strictly to appease my 10-year-old's Lego addiction. Then I found myself building a custom minifig, which has now made appearances around the city, including this incredible performance of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" in front of the Washington Monument. The layers of beauty, pain, and play are so rich in this city.
Rigel's Cosmic Navel Gazer wears space pants, has an extra block (cuz I'm tall), an audio head shirt and upright bass (because song runs through all of reality), a circular purple hat—that which makes wholeness from positive polarities—red and blue smashed together into a mandala circle, and glasses because it's accurate and I identify as a nerd. If you look close, there are soft pink lips because, despite my intimidatingly chiseled masculinity, I have a vibrant feminine streak.

I go Live at the Cosmic Navel most Fridays at 11:30 pm Central Time: https://www.youtube.com/@rigelwindsongthurston/streams
